The Pawnbroker: This is a vital, preoccupying film. Steiger is phenomenal as Sol Nazerman, a Jewish pawnbroker in Harlem who lives in a protected environment with haunting rememberings of Nazi jail camps. Cast includes Rod Steiger, Geraldine Fitzgerald, Brock Peters, Jaime Sanchez, Thelma Oliver, Juano Hernandez, and Raymond St. Jacques. (116 minutes, 1965)

Daniel Boone: Alright action venture detailing a chapter in the life of the legendary pioneer and his leading of some settlers west from North Carolina into Kentucky. O’Brien is well cast in the title role Cast includes George O’Brien, Heather Angel, John Carradine, Ralph Forbes, and Clarence Muse. (75 minutes, 1936)

The Sentinel: Smooth however mindless shocker in reference to N. Rhapsody in August: Average (by his estimations) little Kurosawa piece in reference to the hurtful rememberings of a Japanese woman who recollects the bombing of Nagasaki at the end of WW2. Hoppity Goes to Town: Delightful excited characteristic in regards to occupants of worm-ville and their assorted complications living in a human world, and bullied by villainous C. Bagley Beetle. Excellent-looking however uncompelling tale. (77 minutes, 1941)
